The industry exhibition is located in the Great Halls 3 & 4.

Wireless internet will be available throughout the congress. Details will be made available onsite.

NAME BADGES
Your name badge is essential for entry into scientific sessions and functions. Please collect your name badge from the registration desk prior to entering the sessions.

DRESS CODE
Welcome Reception: Smart casual
Scientific Sessions: Smart casual
Networking Function: Lounge suit / cocktail attire

CATERING
All morning teas, lunches and afternoon teas will be served in the industry exhibition located in Great Halls 3 & 4, BCEC.

E-POSTERS
Scientific posters will be displayed electronically on poster stations located in the industry exhibition during the congress. They will also be available for viewing on the IFHNOS Congress website along with a copy of the submitted abstract.

CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (CPD) PROGRAM
This educational activity has been approved in the RACS CPD Program. RACS Fellows, Specialist International Medical Graduates (SIMGs) and surgeons participating in the RACS CPD Program can claim one point per hour in Educational Activities.

RACS Fellows, participation in this activity will be entered into your RACS CPD which can be accessed through ehub if you provided your RACS ID when registering. 
PASSPORT AND VISA REQUIREMENTS
Please check the Australian Government website for border entry advice. All visitors to Australia must hold a valid passport and visa. Visas must be applied for by email before departure. New Zealand passport holders may apply for a visa upon arrival in Australia.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Please be advised that photographs may be taken during the congress and reproduced by the Congress Organiser or society. If you do not wish to be included in a photograph, please advise the photographer.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
The venue is responsible for all catering at the congress, and the Congress Organiser does not inspect or control food preparation areas or attempt to monitor ingredients used. Contact the venue directly for all special dietary requirements during the event, irrespective of whether details have been provided to the Congress Organiser.

If the Congress Organiser requests information about your dietary requirements for a specific event, they will endeavour to forward the information provided to the venue (time permitting). Even if information is requested or provided, the Congress Organiser takes no responsibility for ensuring the venue acknowledges your dietary requirements or that these requirements can be met. In all cases you must verify for yourself that your dietary requirements have been met, and the Congress Organiser refutes any and all liability for any failure to adequately provide your special dietary requirements or any consequential damage resulting from such failure.

PRAYER ROOM
A dedicated prayer room will be available throughout the Congress for delegates seeking a quiet space for prayer in Meeting Room M9. We kindly ask all attendees to respect the peaceful nature of this space.

PARENT ROOM
The Parent Room feature all you need to feed and change in privacy and comfort. You can find Parent Rooms located on Merivale Street Main Foyer, just behind Merivales Cafe and one located on Grey Street Main Foyer next to the Information Desk.
 
You will also find change tables in all of the uni-sex accessible toilets throughout the Centre.

SPECIFIC NEEDS
We endeavour to ensure all delegates attending the IFHNOS World Congress 2026 are supported and catered for appropriately. If you have accessibility, dietary or other such needs, please contact the Congress Organisers via email at ifhnos@surgeons.org to inform them of your requirements.
