VERBAL PRESENTATIONS

Default screen format is 16:9 (4:3 presentations will not be compromised)
The default aspect ratio for slides is 16:9 (wide screen) rather than 4:3. This is to reflect the fact that the standard template in the latest version of PowerPoint (Office 365 for Windows, Office 2016 for Mac) is 16:9 (wide screen) – which is in line with the format of most screens today (TVs, iPads, tablets, etc.).

However, please note that the older 4:3 (non-wide screen) format will be supported and your presentation will not be compromised in size or resolution if you choose to stay with this format.

IMPORTANT
Presenters participating onsite will be required to bring a copy of their PowerPoint slides to upload at Speaker Support. It is mandatory that you check into the Speaker Support Room at the Congress well before your presentation time to upload your slide deck and to ensure all audiovisual checks are completed.

Presentations will not be available in lecture theatres unless they have been checked in at the Speaker Support Room.

An IFHNOS World Congress 2026 themed PowerPoint template is available for download.
*This template is not compulsory
