Professor Matin graduated from Dhaka Medical College in 1987 and did his pre fellowship training in Bangladesh ,Scotland and Ireland, He acquired DLO from England , FRCS from Edinburgh, Glasgow and England. He was also awarded FACS. Before joining Limerick University Hospital , Ireland as Consultant ENT Head Neck Surgeon, He served as Professor and Head of ENT & Head Neck Surgery, Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital ,Bangladesh. He published 47 papers in many national and international journals including one text book and presented many papers in national and international conferences. He is pioneer in coblation surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery in Bangladesh.
