Dr. Miyauchi is an endocrine surgeon with a particular interest in thyroid diseases. He is President-Emeritus of Kuma Hospital. His contribution includes;1. Proposal and initiation of active surveillance for low-risk papillary thyroid microcarcinoma, 2. Analysis of tumor growth dynamics with calcitonin and thyroglobulin doubling times for medullary and papillary & follicular thyroid carcinoma, respectively. Today he is going to talk on Reconstructive of the resected laryngeal nerves for recovery in phonation.
