Andrew Schache is Professor of H&N Surgery at the University of Liverpool and a Clinical-Academic OMF Surgeon within the Liverpool Head & Neck Centre (LHNC). His clinical practice focuses on H&N cancer surgery and complex maxillofacial reconstruction, including VSP. His research centres on early-phase surgical trials of novel technologies and therapies designed to improve outcomes in locally advanced HNSCC, alongside internationally recognised work on HPV-mediated disease. He has led several multicentre clinical trials, contributed research supporting gender-neutral HPV vaccination in the UK, and supervises clinical and translational researchers. He also leads the extensive portfolio of education and courses delivered from LHNC.
