Anna Jötten is a physicist from Germany. After her PhD in biophysics in Augsburg, Germany and Stockholm, Sweden combining microfluidics and Malaria research, she joined PHIO, a biotech spin-off at LMU Munich for four years of exploring the synergies of academic research and start-up spirit. Her newest transition in early 2026 is to clinical research, joining Prof. Betz team at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Universitätsklinikum Hamburg Eppendorf, leading the research group "Innovative optical diagnostic methods" for new methods in early head and neck cancer detection.
