Boudewijn Plaat is head and neck oncologic surgeon at the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG), The Netherlands. He is principal investigator of several prospective studies evaluating the clinical value of High definition Video-endoscopy, Artificial Inetteligence and and Narrow Band Imaging (NBI) in upper aerodigestive tract lesions. He presented his work on these topics at various international courses and meetings. In parallel to his work as staff member ENT he is also involved in other clinical studies on head and neck cancer regarding complications after oncologic / salvage surgery, new drugable and imaging targets, lymph node detection and skin cancer of the head and neck.
