Christie Barrett is the Advanced Social Work Clinical Team Leader in Radiation Oncology at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, with a specialist focus on Head and Neck cancer care. A social worker since 2002 and working in oncology since 2008, she supports patients and families through the practical, emotional, and psychosocial challenges of cancer diagnosis and treatment. With experience across hospital and community settings in Australia and the UK, Christie is passionate about delivering compassionate, person-centred care. She feels privileged to work alongside people from across Queensland and is continually inspired by the resilience, strength, and humour they bring to their cancer journey.
