Harishanker Jeyarajan, MD, FRACS, is an Australian head and neck surgeon and academic specializing in head and neck oncology, transoral robotic surgery (TORS), laryngology, complex airway surgery and skull base oncology. An Associate Professor and Director of Transoral Robotic Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, his academic work focuses on surgical innovation, fluorescence-guided surgery, optical imaging, oncologic margin assessment and expanding minimally invasive approaches to the larynx and hypopharynx. He has helped develop multidisciplinary programs spanning cancer survivorship, airway care and lymphedema, and is actively involved in international surgical education, robotic surgery training and clinical-translational research.
