Professor Jason Fleming is the inaugural Passe and Williams Chair in Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery at Griffith University and Gold Coast Health, and Director of the Griffith Head and Neck Centre. He is an academic surgeon with clinical and research interests in robotics, surgical innovation and translational oncology. He previously served as Robotic Lead at the Liverpool Head and Neck Centre, UK, and led the establishment of Europe’s first ablative daVinci SP programme, later becoming Europe's first accredited Intuitive Surgical SP Proctor. He runs an international clinical trial portfolio, including PROTIS, a phase III RCT comparing IMRT vs protons for treating sinonasal cancer.
