Professional Bio
I am a final-year PhD candidate at the University of Queensland and a clinician–scientist specialising in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. My research focuses on the tumour microenvironment in head and neck cancer, particularly the dynamic interplay between cancer-associated fibroblasts and immune cells. Using single-cell and spatial approaches, I investigate how stromal plasticity shapes immune organisation and disease progression. Alongside research, I contribute to pre-clinical dental education, emphasising the integration of biological principles with clinical decision-making. My work aims to bridge mechanistic insight with translational relevance in cancer biology.
