Professional Bio
Dr Laurelie Wishart is an Associate Professor in the School of Medicine and Dentistry at Griffith University. A speech patholgist by background, her research focuses on the late effects of cancer treatment — particularly dysphagia and swallowing dysfunction following head and neck cancer — and the development of technology-enhanced survivorship care models. She holds affiliations with Metro North Health and the University of Queensland, and brings a strong translational focus to her work across clinical and academic settings. Laurelie hold executive leadership positions with the Queensland Centre for Cancer Survivorship, MASCC and the HNCIG Young Investigator Subcommittee.
