Dr. Muntasir Mahbub is an otolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon from Bangladesh, working at Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College and Hospital in Sirajganj. His clinical practice focuses on thyroid and head and neck surgery, otology, rhinology, and complex ENT procedures. Alongside patient care and teaching, he develops practical digital tools designed to support clinical decision-making and medical education. At the 8th IFHNOS World Congress 2026 in Brisbane, he will present the Thyroid Nodule Management App, a clinician-oriented decision-support tool that translates established thyroid nodule guidelines into structured, patient-specific assessment and management recommendations for real-world clinical use and patient counseling.
