My name is Novell Teoh, I am currently an ENT Registrar at Waikato Hospital. Previously I have worked as General Surgery, Plastics Surgery and Neurosurgery Registrar. I am passionate in research, mainly looking at health inequities and barriers to access healthcare. I have presented my most recent research work at ASOHNS ASM 2026, RACS ASM, ANZBA ASM 2025 and NZAPS ASM 2024. Previously, I also spent time looking at the utility of tele-dermatoscopy in the community, this service is established to help reduce unnecessary excisions of benign skin lesions in primary care and prioritise patients with skin cancers in secondary or tertiary centre. This research work has been published in JMIR Dermatology 2022 and presented in 9th World Congress of Teledermatology, Imaging and AI for Skin Disease
