Dr Rajdeep Chakraborty is a Maxillofacial (Craniofacial Reconstructive- Orthognathic) Part I Surgeon trainee and Head and Neck Cancer and nanotechnology researcher at Macquarie University. Dr Chakraborty's research interest is developing ultra-stable biomimetic nanoparticles using synthetic chemistry (Click-chemistry). He completed his Ph.D. in Applied BioSciences (Biomedical engineering: developed 3D salivary gland cancer and oral cancer - immune co-culture models). He did his master’s in biomedical sciences from Lancaster University, U.K and later completed his Master of Research in oral cancer at Macquarie University, Sydney after achieving the prestigious Macquarie University Research Excellence Scholarship and Sydney Vital Translational Cancer Research Scholar Award.
