Dr. Ryosuke Kitoh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Shinshu University, Japan. He is a board-certified head and neck oncologist with research experience in audiology. He contributed to Japanfs Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Management of Acute Sensorineural Hearing Loss. His current work focuses on acute hearing threshold shifts during cisplatin-based chemoradiotherapy, aiming to preserve hearing and quality of life while maintaining oncologic outcomes.
