Professor Sandro Porceddu is the Director of the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Melbourne, Australia’s largest academic and clinical radiation oncology service. Professor Porceddu is an internationally recognised clinician-researcher in radiation oncology, head and neck cancer and dermato-oncology, with more than 30 years’ experience. He is in the top 2% of most cited scientist globally. He has previously served as Director of Research, Radiation Oncology at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. He holds Professorial appointments at both the University of Queensland and the University of Melbourne. He is Convenor of IFHNOS2026, Brisbane.
