Shanon Nealon is a proud First Nations Clinical Nurse Consultant with McGrath Cancer Care, based at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Queensland, Australia. She works alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their families across the cancer journey, providing culturally safe care coordination, advocacy, education, and support. Shanon is passionate about improving equity of access to cancer services and addressing barriers experienced by First Nations patients. Her work focuses on strengthening culturally responsive health systems and ensuring patients remain connected to treatment, family, community, and culture. She is committed to amplifying Indigenous voices in cancer care and service improvement.
