Prof. Dr. Simon Laban is an otorhinolaryngologist and head & neck surgeon at the Head & Neck Cancer Center (HNCC) of Ulm University Medical Center in Germany. He holds a professorship for translational head & neck oncology at Ulm University. Specialized in head & neck cancer surgery, he is also managing medical therapies and the clinical trials unit at HNCC Ulm University Medical Center. As a principal investigator, he participated practice changing clinical trials like Keynote-048 and Keynote-689. His own research focuses on the discovery of cancer antigens and antigen-specific immunity for the development of therapeutic cancer vaccines.
