Graduated from the Department of Medicine, Nagoya University School of Medicine in March 1990. Joined the Department of Radiology at Nagoya University School of Medicine in 1991 and obtained a PhD in Radiology in 1998. Appointed Assistant Professor in 1998, then joined Aichi Cancer Center Hospital in 1999, becoming Director of the Department of Radiation Oncology in 2007 and Assistant Hospital Director in 2024. Board‑certified in radiology, radiation oncology, and cancer therapy. Actively engaged in multicenter clinical research, serving as principal investigator, research manager, and radiation therapy manager in national trials through JCOG, WJOG, JROSG, and JGOG.
