R. Wais Rahmati, MD, MPH, FACS, is a head and neck surgeon at Mass Eye and Ear and Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Harvard Medical School. His clinical and academic practice focuses on the full spectrum of salivary gland disease, including salivary gland neoplasms, obstructive and inflammatory disorders, and sialendoscopy. His work emphasizes minimally invasive and gland-preserving approaches and explores emerging strategies for preserving and restoring salivary function. He is actively involved in research and education.
