Clinical Associate Professor Merran Findlay is a Senior Research Fellow in the SPHERE Cancer Clinical Academic Group at UNSW Sydney. An oncology specialist dietitian, Fellow of Dietitians Australia and recognised leader in head and neck cancer nutrition, she has more than 25 years’ experience across clinical care, research and service innovation. She has led the development and implementation of evidence-based head and neck cancer guidelines. Her research focuses on cancer-related malnutrition, sarcopenia and learning health systems. Merran serves on the ANZHNCS Board and COSA Nutrition Group Executive and contributes to the HANCA Community of Practice.
