Dr Poornima Ramamurthy is Research Lead at Eleanor Duncan Aboriginal Services, an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation on Darkinjung Country. She holds a BDS, MBA-MPH, and a PhD, with over 21 years’ experience across clinical practice, academia, and cancer epidemiological research. Her work focuses on Oral Cancer and Head and Neck Cancer, Aboriginal health, chronic disease prevention, and early intervention. She leads research governance, grants, and partnerships with health districts and universities, embedding culturally safe, community-led approaches. Dr Poornima is committed to strengthening research capability, evidence-informed care, and sustainable data systems to improve health outcomes for vulnerable communities.
